AIB Corporate & Customer HQ Wins Award at Arch Expo 2019

RKD’s fit out of the 14,000 sq. m corporate headquarters on Dublin’s Molesworth Street — representing the new cultural ‘heart’ of AIB — won ‘Best Interior Design and Fit Out Project over €5 million’.

The awards citation reads: This design competently resolves the newly evolving and flexible ‘modus operandi’ in the workplace. The judges selected this scheme particularly as it exemplifies a good working environment from a sustainability stand point. The building design approach identifies and contributes to the health and wellbeing of building users.

Announced during Architecture & Building Expo 2019 in partnership with RIAI, Architecture Ireland and Workplace Ireland, the Interior Architecture & Design Awards are judged by a panel of noted industry experts acknowledging excellence in all areas of interior design.

The award is welcome recognition of the project that’s driving AIB’s mission as a customer-centric bank of change, evolving to meet the changing needs of its clients by transitioning to an innovative new ‘virtual campus’ model.

Congratulations to AIB and to the highly innovative project team who worked collaboratively to help turn our client’s vision into reality.
