The Science East & Hub Building at University College Dublin has become the first third-level education building in Ireland to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification.
BREEAM is the world’s leading sustainability assessment method for masterplanning projects, infrastructure and buildings. It addresses a number of life cycle stages such as New Construction, Refurbishment and In-Use.
RKD is delighted to be part of the UCD team that delivered BREEAM ‘Excellent’ for the project.
