COVID-19 Preparedness

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread around the World and Ireland, we have established the following guidelines in line with current HSE and Government advice.

Currently, RKD Architects Ltd have the capability to isolate our offices from one another and can cease physical contact and visits between these offices. Furthermore, we have already made staff aware who may be travelling for personal or business purposes of the risks attached and to constantly monitor the recommendations from the HSE and Irish government respectively. We are encouraging all staff to work from home where possible.

We are fortunate that most of our projects here are hosted in the cloud and work on these projects can be conducted with staff removed from their base office as the need arises. Our I.T team are continuing to test the robustness and resilience of our systems.

We have advised staff to avail of using Microsoft Teams to avoid unnecessary travel to clients/consultants where possible. All other meetings/engagements will be conducted by tele-conference forthwith until further notice.

In addition, we have already informed staff members of the following:

If a team member feels unwell (possesses symptoms) or comes from an infection zone, we will adhere to the guidelines provided by the HSE as outlined below.

To summarise, the health and welfare of our staff, clients, contractors and the surrounding communities will continue to be our number one priority. We will continue to regularly follow the advice and necessary steps as outlined by the HSE.
