Network Strategy & Master Planning Process​

RKD completed a network strategy and master planning exercise for a confidential life sciences client in Switzerland to support long-term manufacturing and supply chain growth. The project began with a detailed assessment of the existing network, including production capacities,warehouse operations, logistics flows, market demand and future growth scenarios.​

​RKD facilitated stakeholder workshops, collected operational and financial data, and developed a range of network options. These scenarios were valuated against cost, service, capacity, risk and sustainability criteria. The preferred strategy was translated into a phased master plan, identifying site development opportunities, future facility requirements and capital investment priorities. The outcome provided a clear road map for network optimization, enabling informed investment decisions and supporting the client's long-term business objectives. ​
